如果你從來沒看過Hedwig and the angry inch（搖滾芭比）或Short bus（性愛巴士），去找來看吧，這樣的電影能夠告訴你自己對電影的極限在哪裡，因為看完後只會有兩個極端--不是愛它，就是恨它, as simple as that。
我喜歡導演/作者John Cameron Mitchell的直率，他把"性"大辣辣的放在螢幕上，要避開不看的方式，那就只有關掉而已，因為它到處都是，根本無從躲起。雖然性總是John Cameron Mitchell備受爭議的主題，但是性永遠不是我看完片後想要再看一次的"第一個“原因，是那份誠實，那份真，那巨大的孤獨，和笑弄人生，當然還有電影中活生生的角色們，尤其是Justin Bond，he/she's great。不過我得承認，我真的就把片子露點的部份定格或慢放，給它仔細地看個清清楚楚，作剪接方面的徹底研究，嗯。

1. 電影劇本之初只有兩個角色James& Jamie，其餘的劇情發展完全是所有演員們共同發展出來的。
2. 片中所有的情色畫面完全是真槍實彈上演，是的，完全，真槍實彈。（不知他們NG幾遍）
3. 主角之一James（Paul Dawson）為了開頭一招auto-fellatio（呃，我害羞，翻不出口，請自己查吧），可是從開拍三個月前就每日練 習，還特地跑到philly去跟“大師“學習，以達到art的境界。god！It's great！你們一定會喜歡那一幕的！
4. 主角之二Sofia（Soon-Yin Lee）是加拿大生廣東人，她本身是為多才多藝的歌手，filmmaker，電視廣播主持人。因為在此片中的演出，使得她差點遭到革職，幸好有Francis Ford Coppola, R.E.M.'s Michael Stipe, Julianne Moore, Moby, Gus Van Sant...等人的支持，她才能繼續在Canadian Broadcasting Corporation繼續主持Definitely Not the Opera這個廣播節目。

Short bus的原意就是電影上經常看到的學校校車，因為它比一般的公車小多了，像部小貨車，所以被稱作Short bus。然而，它也用來接送有情感不協調或心理疾病的小朋友，所以taking the short bus便成了暗示某人有心裡障礙的的一般用語。
Short bus是部非常誠實的電影，雖然全片充斥著性，但誰說性不是我們生活中最自然發生的事？而男男女女，同性戀，異性戀，雙性戀，在Shortbus這個地方，都找到了他們的溫暖歸屬，什麼性屬性，也不是那麼的重要了。坦承的看，你會發現生命的掙扎與追尋，才是此片最令人爭議的主題。
片尾，Justin Bond的歌聲伴著弦樂重奏，緩緩唱出：
